Welcome ye wanderer, welcome to the Nether Realm. You find yourself upon the threshold of a strange and wonderful world of magic and mystery. The Nether Realm is a forum-based, extremely active roleplay (also known as a play-by-post RPG) that caters for all levels of player. We nurture the young and those new to this style of writing, as well as provide a haven for the intermediate to advanced player. We are blessed with extremely talented writers, friendly staff and provide a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for everyone (welcoming new players into the fold).

The world is in a fantasy - medieval setting, and is vast and tangible. It is frequently added to and moulded by staff and members alike. Our style of play provides for those who love both freeform and the more structure style of roleplaying, and members have the freedom to create area's of the world - as well as contribute guilds, groups, clans, tribes, noble houses, religions, and legendary artefacts/weapons/armour. For the active member we even allow member created races. 

The site navigation grants access to all area's of the world; the forums, the wiki, the art galleries - and guest friendly help forums enable those wanderers who find themselves in a quarry and need help the freedom to post questions without having to register.
